DISTANT THUNDER: New Videos To Be Unveiled At Houston Club
June 24, 2004DISTANT THUNDER, the new band featuring former HELSTAR/DESTINY'S END and current SEVEN WITCHES frontman James Rivera, will unveil two new music videos, "Lost in Time" and "Hopeless Creator", on Thursday, July 1 at the Forgetta 'Bout It Club in Houston, Texas. "The evening's events will commence at 7:30 PM, beginning with complimentary refreshments, followed by a viewing of the music videos," according to a posting on the band's web site. "Special musical guest to appear live! NO COVER!!! Merchandise will be available for sale, to include DISTANT THUNDER logo t-shirts, plus the newly released CD, 'Welcome the End' and, of course, the live video PLUS bonus footage of the recording of 'Welcome the End' and more on DVD! For those of you outside of the Houston, Texas area, the 'Welcome the End' CD can be purchased at MetalMerchant.com. The DISTANT THUNDER DVD and other merchandise will be available on the DISTANT THUNDER web site after July 1st."
DISTANT THUNDER's debut CD, "Welcome the End", was recorded at Spyder Studio in Houston, Texas and was produced by Rivera's SEVEN WITCHES bandmate Jack Frost. The lineup of DISTANT THUNDER also includes SYMPHONY X bassist Mike LePond, Z-LOT-Z's guitar duo, Gregg Gill and Eric Halpern (also former HELSTAR and DESTINY'S END guitarist),and Rick Ward on drums. In addition to nine new originals, "Welcome the End" also includes a 2004 version of HELSTAR's "Run with the Pack" and ACCEPT's "Restless and Wild".
